Qualifications - I'm well-qualified to fulfill this position because I am a highly positive and optimistic worker who enjoys finding solutions to problems. I have a thorough understanding of the nature of search engines, and I have extensive experience and talent working with technology. I well-enjoy collaborating with others in order to complete a task, and am highly motivated when working with a team. When solving an issue or given a task, I responsibly complete it with confidence that the output will have great results. As a web developer, I understand how web marketing functions and how to use search trends in order to attract more visitors to a website. I plan to use my optimistic attitude, confidence, communication skills, collaborative spirit, creativity, and talent with technology to fulfill this position using the best of my abilities.


Education - I am currently enrolled at Brigham Young University Idaho, located in Rexburg Idaho for the Fall and Spring semesters. I'm currently aimed at a major of computer science.


Relevant Experience-

I am a participant of the HTML Working Group as part of the World Wide Web Consortium. We strive to set the standards of how HTML and similar components are operated on the World Wide Web. As an invited expert, I collaborate with fellow experts, many of whom are representatives from technologically leading companies, in order to improve the Internet's standards with technology such as HTML 5.

I am also a participant of LDSTech, a developer community as part of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I've assisted with the development of two Apple iPhone and iPod Touch applications, known as the Mormon Channel and Gospel Library, and I plan to continue to assist them as a volunteer of each project.

During the years of 2008, 2009, and 2010, I participated in debates via the Internet for the annual meetings of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. In 2008, I was featured in the plenary meeting in a mashup video. This video was featured on television channels such as CNN and C-Span. The 2008 and 2009 mashup videos were both featured on the front page of YouTube.

An in-progress project I'm currently assisting and volunteering with is the development of an iPhone app that promotes the music of the orchestra 'ES Posthumus'. This orchestra is well known for creating film scores, with compositions featured in many films such as Disney's National Treasure and Pirates of the Carribean. This iPhone app will primarily promote the new album 'Makara', and will hopefully see dramatic development progress due to the recent release of iPhone OS4.


Other such web-related experience I have is working with Adobe Flash. For an example, here is a game I constructed as a school project for the Dale Jackson Career Center located near Dallas, Texas that is featured on the Apple website:
